Southwest also flew a 737 MAX8 aircraft, outfitted with a commemorative decal to promote its Pilot pathways program, Destination 225°, to the event in Oshkosh, Wis., on Monday, July 24. Onboard the flight were Destination 225° cadets and mentors, along with members the airlines’ Chicago-area Community Outreach Partners Tuskegee NEXT Foundation and AeroStar Avion Institute – organizations which also work to inspire and guide students into pursuing aviation careers.
