Southwest Airlines Joins Kilohana Hula Show As Presenting Sponsor, In Celebration Of Five Years Of Serving The People Of Hawaii With Heart

DALLASSouthwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) is celebrating its fifth anniversary of Hawaii service by today announcing a partnership with the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA) as Presenting Sponsor of the community's beloved and revitalized Kilohana Hula Show.

The Kilohana Hula Show presented by Southwest Airlines® is free and open to the public, and will run weekly, Sunday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Waikiki Shell. The show will feature native Hawaiian culture in the heart of Waikiki with top hula halau, including Merrie Monarch winners.

Since its first service to Hawaii in 2019, Southwest® is grateful to have grown to serve five airports in the Aloha State, and to link the Hawaiian Islands with the mainland through nonstop service in eight gateway airports: Long Beach, Calif.; Oakland, Calif.; Sacramento, San Jose, Calif.; Los Angeles (LAX); San Diego; Las Vegas; and Phoenix. Today, Southwest offers 90 Hawaii departures a day, 60 of which link the Islands to one another. In addition, Southwest Airlines has donated more than $3.2 million in cash and in-kind contributions to Hawaii-based nonprofits throughout its years of service in Hawaii.
