Southwest Airlines Offers $30 Fare For 30 Days

Like the childhood rhyme goes, "Thirty days hath September," and that's exactly how long travelers can take advantage of Southwest Airlines' $30 fare between St. Louis and eleven destinations.

Customers can travel during September for only $30 each way between St. Louis and the following cities: Chicago Midway, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Little Rock, Louisville, Oklahoma City, Omaha, and Tulsa.

"The month of September may be short on days, but Southwest is making it long on savings," said Joyce Rogge, Southwest Airlines vice president of marketing. "With the $30 fare available for 30 days, Southwest is making every day of September count."

The special fare, which requires a roundtrip purchase and an overnight stay, is available now until Sept. 23 for travel between Sept. 1 and Sept. 30. Tickets must be purchased at least seven days before departure and within one day of making reservations. Tickets are nonrefundable but if unused may be applied toward the purchase of future travel on Southwest. Seats are limited and may not be available during the Labor Day holiday or other busy travel times. Fares do not include airport-assessed passenger facility charges of up to $12 roundtrip and a federal tax of $2.25 per segment. Fares are subject to change until ticketed, and any change in itinerary could result in an increase in the fare.
