As Vice President of Customer Experience & Digital Experience for Southwest Airlines, Bill oversees the “end-to-end” physical and digital Customer experience of Southwest. With an eagerness in delighting our Customers, his Leadership focus is on advancing the best overall experience for our Customers throughout their entire journey in both human and digital interactions.
Bill has served Southwest Airlines in various functions since joining the Company in 2003. He began his career with Southwest in Customer Relations before spending time in both Revenue Management & Pricing as well as Marketing. Within Marketing, Bill has served in a variety of Leadership roles including Customer Intelligence, Business Analytics, Media, Strategy, Distribution Strategy, Department Planning & Operations, CMO Chief of Staff, Brand Strategy, Advertising & Communications, as well as Digital Experience.
A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Bill has now lived in Texas for several years after graduating from the University of Dallas with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Philosophy (Pre-Law) with studies in the theory and practice of business management.
A family man at heart, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife, Anne, of many years and their five (yes, you read that correctly) daughters as well his extended group of family and friends. With respect to work, his greatest joy is seeing the People of Southwest Airlines thrive, and being part of connecting Customers to what matters most in their lives as they travel.
