Travel on Southwest Airlines for $99 or less to or from Phoenix, St. Louis, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, or Chicago Midway

Beat the summer heat with low fares from Southwest Airlines. For $99 or less each way, based on roundtrip purchase, travelers can go on any scheduled flight to or from Chicago Midway, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, Phoenix, or St. Louis.

"These special fares are a cool deal for any traveler," said Joyce Rogge, Southwest's vice president of marketing.

Fare examples include: Phoenix to Providence for $99 each way, based on roundtrip purchase; Detroit to Chicago Midway for $39 each way, based on roundtrip purchase; St. Louis to Tampa for $99 each way, based on roundtrip purchase; and Chicago Midway to Baltimore/Washington for $69 each way, based on roundtrip purchase.

The fares are available for purchase until June 11, with travel good until Sept. 30. At least a one-night stayover is required. Tickets must be purchased within one day of making a reservation and at least seven days before departure. While tickets are nonrefundable, they may, if unused, be applied toward the purchase of future travel on Southwest Airlines. Seats are limited and will not be available on some flights that operate during very busy travel times such as the Fourth of July and Labor Day holiday periods.

Southwest Airlines, now the nation's fifth largest carrier in terms of Customer boardings, serves 51 cities in 25 states. The carrier will begin service to Manchester, New Hampshire, on June 7. The airline currently has more than 25,175 Employees and operates more than 2,300 flights a day.
