Southwest Airlines Offers $30 Each Way Fare From St. Louis

Exceptional Fare as Hot as Mark McGwire's Home Run Record

Southwest Airlines announced today a fare of $30 each way, based on roundtrip travel, for Customers traveling between St. Louis and selected cities. This special fare is valid for travel between St. Louis and Chicago Midway, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, Indianapolis, Little Rock, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Omaha, Louisville, and Tulsa.

"Customers traveling to or from St. Louis will hit a home run with this travel value," said Joyce Rogge, Southwest's vice president of marketing. "Customers also can take advantage of the new and ultra-convenient East Terminal in St. Louis."

Tickets must be purchased between now and Oct. 12 for travel through Nov. 23. Tickets must be purchased at least seven days before departure and within one day of making reservations. An overnight stay is required, and tickets are nonrefundable but may be applied, if unused, toward the purchase of future travel on Southwest. There are no blackout dates for this sale, but seats are limited and may not be available during certain peak travel times. Fare does not include airport-assessed passenger facility charges of up to $12 roundtrip. Fares do not include a $1 or $2 federal excise tax that will be imposed on each flight segment of your itinerary. A flight segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing.
