Liberty the Eagle on a Southwest Airlines Flight

Liberty, a bald eagle rescued and rehabilitated by the World Bird Sanctuary, flew from Saint Louis to Kansas City. Liberty will appear in Kansas City's Independence Day celebration, KC Riverfest. The flight between the two cities was especially historic for Liberty, since it was the first time the 21-year-old American Bald Eagle has flown in the cabin, instead of in the cargo hold.
