Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV) will add one daily nonstop flight each way between the following cities beginning April 4, 2004:

- One between Chicago Midway and Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood (for a total of three daily)
- One between Chicago Midway and Orlando (for a total of three daily)
- One between Chicago Midway and Columbus (for a total of six daily)
- One between Columbus and Baltimore/Washington (for a total of three daily)

Customers can take advantage of Southwest's regular low fares and even lower advance purchase fares on these flights, such as a $79 each-way fare based on roundtrip travel between Chicago Midway and either Orlando or Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood.

This discounted fare is available only on the nonstop flights between Chicago and either Orlando or Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood and is valid for travel through the end of Southwest's published schedule (currently May 8, 2004). Tickets must be purchased at least seven days before departure and within one day of making reservations. The fare requires roundtrip purchase with an overnight stay (any night). Fares do not include a federal segment tax of $3.10 per takeoff and landing. Fares do not include airport-assessed passenger facility charges of up to $9 roundtrip and federal September 11th Security Fees of up to $5 roundtrip per person. Tickets are nonrefundable but (except for tickets purchased through the Group Tickets program) may be applied toward future travel on Southwest Airlines without the penalty of a change fee. Seats are limited and may not be available on some flights that operate during peak or holiday travel times, such as Easter weekend. Fares are subject to change until ticketed, and any change in itinerary could result in an increase in the fare.
