| JOB DESCRIPTION: | Chuck's primary responsibility is serving our approximately 6,200 Flight Ops Employees. He provides leadership and support to the Department, which includes 8 Pilot Bases, Crew Planning/Scheduling/Payroll, the Flight Training Center and Flight Ops Administration. He also develops and implements policy and procedures to ensure safe and efficient flight operations at Southwest. |
| EXPERIENCE: | Chuck began his career in the United States Marine Corps as a F-18 Fighter Pilot. At Southwest Airlines Chuck has been a Captain, Check Airman, Chief Pilot for the HOU Pilot Base, and the Sr. Chief Pilot. Chuck holds an ATP with a type rating in the 737. |
